AEW Double or Nothing just got even bigger, with an AEW Women’s World Championship Match set for the big pay-per-view.
As confirmed during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it’ll be Mina Shirakawa going up against Toni Storm for the title. Shirakawa came out on top in a four-way eliminator match, beating Storm, AZM, and Skye Blue.
Shirakawa came out on top after reversing a move from Storm, then trading roll-ups to pin her for the win. A shocked Storm wasn’t happy after the match, but will now have to defend her title on May 25, 2025, when Double or Nothing takes place from Glendale, Arizona’s Desert Diamond Arena.
