The world of free agency continues to heat up as another AEW talent is reportedly in a contract year.
We already know that former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May is in a contract year. With many in the company expecting her to be WWE-bound. However, another name is also reportedly in a contract year and is a former TBS Champion.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Willow Nightingale is in a contract year with All Elite Wrestling. Her contract is expected to expire in the next few months.
Based on those he’s spoken with in AEW, Sapp states that Nightingale is being looked at as a priority for the company. Going as far as to say that it’s a guarantee that she will be offered an extension to remain with the company.
All Elite Wrestling expects to retain the former champion who’s currently engaged in a feud with Marina Shafir and the Death Riders.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Willow Nightingale’s AEW status as it becomes available.
