The WWE Universe may be witnessing the rise of a new ‘Dangerous Alliance’ led by Paul Heyman. Seth Rollins aligned himself with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania after he helped the former Architect beat both CM Punk and Roman Reigns during Saturday’s main event. The RAW after WrestleMania saw Braun Breakker introduce himself as the new ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’ The former WWE Intercontinental Champion helped Rollins fend off Punk and Reigns to cap off the show.
Rollins and Breakker are the latest in the long list of superstars to have been managed by the Wiseman of pro wrestling. Heyman has an illustrious history of mentoring some of the biggest names such as—Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns—in the history of this business. Today’s generation of fans may know these superstars as ‘Paul Heyman Guys.’ That said, the events of RAW this past Monday seem to have planted the seeds for something much bigger and dangerous.
The newfound alliance of Heyman, Rollins and Breakker doesn’t appear to have a name (at least at the time of this writing). Majority of fans on the internet, like myself, expect this group to be a WWE version of the iconic Dangerous Alliance. The group had its origins in the AWA before reaching the peak of its popularity in WCW during the nineties. The faction, at one point, featured Rick Rude, Madusa, Larry Zbyszko, and a ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin to name a few.
Now that we’re done with the prelude, let’s look at the four WWE superstars who could join Paul Heyman’s new Dangerous Alliance.
Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez made a name for herself in NXT before appearing on the WWE main roster. She’s a former two-time NXT Women’s Champion. The Prodigy was NXT’s Breakout Star of 2022. She had short run with the brand’s women’s tag team titles as well. Perez went the distance at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble before Charlotte Flair removed her competition.
Roxanne Perez is simply undeniable when it comes to her in-ring skills. Her promo could definitely use some improvements. And what better way to get over on the mic than to have Paul Heyman as your advocate. Roxanne Perez as a member of the new Dangerous Alliance has money written all over it.
Dangerous Alliance could be Naomi’s version of The Bloodline
Naomi may be doing the best work of her career. The heel turn against Jade Cargill gave the WWE Universe an absolutely unhinged version of Naomi. There’s no arguing that Naomi carried Jade through a solid match at WrestleMania. The build-up to the whole feud was one of the better ones WWE did for Mania this year.
What’s next for Naomi? While Jade may have teased a feud with Rhea Ripley, WWE hasn’t hinted at any clear direction for her former tag team partner. This writer would rather have Naomi paired with Paul Heyman than use her to elevate the WWE women’s locker room. The new Dangerous Alliance could be Naomi’s version of The Bloodline — minus all the familial relations.
Becky Lynch
It took Becky Lynch less than 24 hours to pull a Seth Rollins and turn against her partner after WrestleMania. Becky snapped following the tag team title match on RAW this past Monday. But let’s talk about Lyra’s selling first. That was horrible, in this writer’s humble opinion. Becky Lynch versus Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship seems to be the direction for May’s Backlash PLE.
A heel Becky Lynch joining her husband in the new Dangerous Alliance is certainly an intriguing prospect. The WWE Universe may not have liked their on-screen pairing in 2019, but they could pull off something big under the watchful eye of Paul Heyman, who seems to have a knack for making champions out of his clients.
Drew McIntyre
Paul Heyman was in Roman Reigns’ corner when The Bloodline screwed the Scottish Warrior in his home country of Scotland years ago. McIntyre would rather have his hands on Heyman’s throat than form an alliance with him. But, as we’ve seen with McIntyre in the past, he can put his pat differences aside to work for something greater.
And there’s no bigger thing in this business than the Undisputed WWE Championship. Assuming McIntyre stays on SmackDown after the 2025 WWE Draft, he could compete for the top title as part of the Dangerous Alliance. Plus, McIntyre won’t probably mind taking a shot a CM Punk and Roman Reigns by aligning himself with their former Wiseman.
Honorable Mentions
Bianca Belair
A lot of fans, this writer included, expected Bianca Belair to walk out of WrestleMania as the new Women’s World Champion. Instead, IYO SKY retained her title in one of the better matches across two nights. Bianca’s fan reception amid the whole feud has been negative, to say the least. Even WWE commentary acknowledged the boos she got from the live crowd at WrestleMania.
Ideally, Triple H would turn Bianca heel based off the crowd reaction before the eventual showdown against Jade Cargill. The EST could join the new Dangerous Alliance to establish herself as a credible babyface. She may be 10/10 in the ring but would most definitely benefit from having Paul Heyman as a manager.
Sami Zayn
I would’ve swapped Sami Zayn with Karrion Kross but feel he doesn’t need the Paul Heyman rub. On the contrary, I would love to see Triple H not booking Kross-Heyman partnership just to p*iss off the marks on the internet.
As for Sami Zayn, the heel turn has long been overdue. Sami and Heyman worked together in the OG Bloodline. The former Honorary Uce could return to the Wiseman to build-up Sami Zayn versus Jey Uso somewhere down the line.
