Tony Khan Responds To The Idea Of Expanding AEW’s PPV Calendar

Could we see Tony Khan adding additional All Elite Wrestling pay-per-views to the yearly calendar?

When AEW formed in 2019, the company launched with a four pay-per-views a year model. Since then, the pay-per-view events have increased substantially over the last six years, going from four to nine. But are there plans to expand the calendar to ten anytime soon?

All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan recently spoke with Tony Maglio of The Hollywood Reporter. When asked if more yearly pay-per-views were on the horizon for the company, Khan said that while he could see them going up to ten at some point, he believes that right now, nine is a great number for the company.

This number doesn’t include the three yearly pay-per-views Khan runs for Ring of Honor, which puts the overall calendar to 12 a year.

The next AEW pay-per-view takes place on May 25 with Double or Nothing.
