What is the WWE status of Brock Lesnar heading into WrestleMania 41 this weekend?
It’s been a very long time since we’ve last seen Brock Lesnar on WWE programming. After being referenced in a lawsuit against WWE in early 2024. But did Cody Rhodes’ recent mention of The Beast Incarnate mean that Lesnar is back in the fold with the company heading into its biggest show of the year?
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), despite the recent namedrop, there are currently no plans to bring Brock Lesnar back to WWE at this time. Furthermore, there have been no conversations about bringing him behind the scenes in quite some time.
Dave Meltzer backed up Sapp’s report on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, stating the following:
“I’ve been told adamantly, it’s like, this is in the hands of (WWE) legal,” Dave Meltzer said. “It’s not in the hands of Paul Levesque. Nick Khan’s not gonna overrule legal. And when they think that the case is going to be settled, or whatever it is, then maybe he’ll come back. I don’t know.”
Needless to say, don’t expect Brock Lesnar to pop up in Las Vegas later this weekend for WrestleMania 41.
