Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) To Make MLW Debut, Set For Multiple Shows

Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin in WWE, is set to make his MLW debut.

Major League Wrestling announced that Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin, will compete in the Battle Riot at MLW Battle Riot VII on April 5th. The Battle Riot will be for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

Bishop Dyer shared the news himself while speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show and said that he had committed to multiple shows.

Dyer entered free agency in January. In February, Fightful reported that WWE would not be renewing his contract. Dyer (real name Tom Pestock) competed at The People vs. GCW, where he lost to Josh Barnett. He also wrestled at Maple Leaf Pro’s Mayhem event. During his time in WWE, he won the WWE United States Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship. He also won the King of the Ring and the Money in the Bank match.
