John Cena wanted to pee on Jimmy Kimmel’s desk for making him get naked at the Oscars.
In March this year, John Cena appeared at the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted Academy Awards, presenting the award for the winner of the Best Costume Design. The Oscar went to Poor Things, but everybody was talking about the former WWE Champion.
During the event, Cena shuffled onto the stage with the golden envelope covering his private parts, as he appeared to be totally naked. He was meant to streak on stage, in reference to the streaker from the 1974 Oscars ceremony.
John Cena appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was hosted by Jeff Goldblum. He was asked about the collaboration with Kimmel at the Oscars, which saw him getting naked, which Cena didn’t seem overly thrilled with.
He joked he was going to “pee all over the man’s desk” in retaliation for the event. John Cena then revealed that Jimmy Kimmel had the idea for the sketch, even naming the image of him standing on the stage with nothing but a piece of card.
“Jeff, it’s so good to see you, but I’m going to stay here until they shut down. I’m peeing all over this man’s desk.”
“I would like to title this painting ‘An Index Card Saved My Dignity’, but it did not. That’s a bit that Jimmy Kimmel came up with at the Oscars, involving costuming and streaking. I don’t know if you guys saw it, but it was, well, fantastic. It was one small step for man and one below-average step for me.”
John Cena: They Couldn’t Show Any Of My Butt Crack
John Cena continued to talk about the Oscars sketch. He noted that, while he was naked on stage, they had to cover his butt crack with medical tape because it was a “PG Show”.
The WWE legend said it was more embarrassing than being fully naked.
“Not only was it about being out there naked in front of everybody, but it was also a PG show, so they couldn’t show any of my butt crack. Instead, they put giant pieces of medical tape on my butt. This, I think, was more embarrassing. I’d rather have those Christmas hams out there than all taped up like that.”
