WWE revealed the footage from Seth Rollins‘ ref cam at WWE SummerSlam.
WWE debuted the ref cam at WWE SummerSlam. Among other matches on the card, Seth Rollins was the guest referee for the grudge match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk.
In a tweet, WWE shared some of the footage from Rollins’ ref cam. In one highlight, Rollins encouraged McIntyre to hit Punk harder. Rollins then criticized McIntyre, saying that an overhead suplex never beat anybody. He also told Punk that he could just give up and leave the company.
In the end, McIntyre beat Punk. Punk got distracted by Rollins and hit him with a GTS, and McIntyre capitalized.
CM Punk later made it clear that he was not done with Drew McIntyre. On the August 5 episode of WWE RAW, he said that he wanted a rematch. He called McIntyre out, but Seth Rollins answered instead. Rollins said it was time to put Punk in the dirt, but McIntyre interrupted. He provoked Punk, who chased him into the crowd.
Bronson Reed then brutally attacked Seth Rollins and hit him with several Tsunami splashes.
