AEW Rampage Results (7/19): The Lucha Brothers, Chris Jericho, Orange Cassidy, More

All Elite Wrestling is back again with another star-studded show with the July 19 episode of AEW Rampage.

Tonight, The Lucha Brothers will take on Private Party in the tag team main event, in a bout against two of the biggest and best tag teams in AEW. Minoru Suzuki and The Butcher will also step into the ring to take each other on in singles action, while The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, & Tomohiro Ishii) take on The Undisputed Kingdom in a Trios Grudge Match.

Also planned for the night, Kris Statlander will be in action, Chris Jericho & Big Bill will compete, and more.

AEW Rampage Results

Match 1: The Conglomeration defeat Undisputed Kingdom via pinfall

The trios match to open up the show was every bit as entertaining as fans hoped. Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong started the match off with a big exchange of punches, before Tomohiro Ishii tagged in and cleared the ring and corners of anyone. Later on in the match, Ishii would hit Taven with an Avalance Brainbuster, but Strong broke up the pin before once again starting a fight with O’Reilly.

Eventually, Orange Cassidy would find himself tagged in again and hit a tornado DDT on Mike Bennett. This allowed Cassidy and O’Reilly to hit the Total Elimination on him, before Cassidy ended things with an Orange Punch to Taven for the pin and win.

After the match, Don Callis led Cassidy into an ambush at the hands of Kyle Fletcher. Mark Briscoe came running down for the save, but Roderick Strong hit Briscoe with a big running knee before taking the ROH World Championship and posing with it.

Backstage segment: Harley Cameron and Saraya

In an interview, Saraya said that she is already a living legend and that other women in All Elite Wrestling don’t want to face her. She then said that the company is purposely trying to keep her off of the card for AEW All In, but that she doesn’t care and will do what whatever it takes to get there.

Match 2: Chris Jericho & Big Bill defeat The Outrunners via pinfall

Jericho and Bill won…sort of. The match was mostly just Bill competing on his own, as Jericho stood by at the apron with the FTW title on. Bill didn’t need much help, though, as he pretty much dominated The Outrunners in every way he pleased before finally tagging in Jericho to pin them with just a foot.

After the match, Jericho continued his braggadocious actions and waved to the crowd, when out came Minoru Suzuki for his match. Suzuki stared and pointed at Jericho in the process.

Match 3: Minoru Suzuki defeats The Butcher via pinfall

Suzuki wasted little time in using the energy he had for Jericho on The Butcher, dropping him to the ground and attacking his leg. Butcher got a few hits in but Suzuki was laughing them off (literally), before Butcher finally hit a massive suplex that stunned Minoru.

The match came to an end after Minoru slipped out of another suplex and locked in a sleeper hold before deciding to hit a piledriver for the win.

Backstage segment: The Conglomeration

The group laid out its rules for prospective members. One, they had to be down to conglomerate, and two, you couldn’t be “a s—head.” Mark Briscoe then said that Ishii will take on Roderick Strong tomorrow on AEW Collision.

Match 4: Kris Statlander defeats Syndi Winnell via pinfall

In another relatively short match, Statlander dominated the entire match, essentially showing off while Stokely Hathaway watched from ringside with a smile. The bout came to an end after Statlander hit a few elbow strikes and then caught Winnell in mid-air, hitting her with the Saturday Night Fever for the pin and win.

Match 5: The Lucha Bros. defeat Private Party via pinfall

The main event saw things break down pretty immediately, with all four superstars going at it and doing near in-sync diving moves to each other. As things went on, however, the Lucha Bros. slowly began mounting momentum, and things eventually ended after Fenix was able to drop Marq Quen with a big move late. This let the brothers hit double superkicks on both opponents, and then a Fear Factor for the pin and win.
