Cora Jade teases that her return is right around the corner.
NXT star Cora Jade underwent surgery in January after she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus at an NXT live event. She recently posted an update by sharing a clip of herself working out.
Jade then took to Twitter and teased her plans for her return. After Roxanne Perez beat Lola Vice to retain the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Heatwave, the brand’s official Twitter account wondered who could stop Perez. Jade responded by writing, “I was told an ACL injury heals in 6-9 months. That was in January.”
Jade and Perez previously won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship together, but Cora turned heel on Roxanne. They then had a heated feud that culminated in a Weapons Wild match at NXT Halloween Havoc 2022, where Perez beat Jade.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Cora Jade will return to the ring. WrestleZone will monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
