TNA Digital Media Champion AJ Francis wants to face NXT North American Champion Oba Femi.
Speaking on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, AJ Francis commented on TNA working with NXT. He then stated that he wanted to face NXT North American Champion AJ Francis.
“Now, knowing that they did the crossover, and then Ash By Elegance, she’s part of the show [at NXT Battleground], obviously there’s gonna be some stuff there,” AJ Francis said. “It’s like, knowing that I’m a champion in TNA and they’re doing the NXT/TNA crossover, my mentions are flooding. People want me to fight Oba Femi so bad, and I want to, too. Oba keeps abusing these little boys. He ain’t faced nobody that’s hands down bigger and stronger than him, and I am. I am willing to put it all on that. We can go title for title. I ain’t scared, I know he ain’t scared either.
“That’s what makes good fights. Two real dogs that ain’t scared of each other. I know he gonna try to kill me, and I’m gonna do the same damn thing, so guess what? We gonna see who ends up on top. I got nothing but love and respect for that brother, but I don’t think it’s gonna be him.”
