Wheeler Yuta is still out of action with an injury and hasn’t competed for months.
The current Ring of Honor Pure Champion hasn’t competed since the January 12 episode of AEW Rampage when he lost a match to Eddie Kingston for the Triple Crown Championship.
Yuta disappeared from television following this and hasn’t been mentioned since. The Blackpool Combat Club member was scheduled for a match at CMLL with the rest of his team on March 29 but was replaced by Matt Sydal.
In an update from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Yuta has been dealing with “concussion symptoms” for months now. While it was thought that Yuta wouldn’t be sidelined long, that has turned out not to be the case.
Unfortunately, at this time, there is no timetable for his return to All Elite Wrestling.
On behalf of everyone at WrestleZone, we wish Wheeler Yuta a speedy recovery.
