The Motor City Machine Guns‘ contracts with TNA are set to expire soon.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported the news. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) has provided an update. Sapp writes that sources claimed their contracts would be up within the month, but Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin did not respond to direct inquiries. Sapp reiterates that sources near TNA believed the news to be true.
The report notes that TNA’s offers have been different lately, especially after some of the talent meetings in recent months. Sapp writes that while he could not speak to the Motor City Machine Guns specifically, some talent are being offered per-date deals, rather than full contracts.
It was previously announced that Sabin and Shelley signed new deals with TNA in March 2023.
Sabin and Shelley are both former world champions in TNA. Sabin is a ten-time X-Division Champion, and the duo has held the tag team titles.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
