Tony Khan teases that big things are in store for AEW.
AEW CEO Tony Khan has previously shared his belief that 2024 could be AEW’s biggest year yet. The company is set to return to Wembley Stadium for the second year in a row, and it will mark the company’s first full year with AEW Collision, their third weekly television show. Additionally, AEW has been linked to major free agents Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Moné, while they have already signed Will Ospreay and Deonna Purrazzo.
In a tweet on January 26, Tony Khan teased that some surprises are coming. He wrote that 2024 AEW is the next 2021 AEW.
2021 was a significant year for AEW. Former WWE Champion CM Punk signed with the company and debuted at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. Plus, AEW All Out 2021 featured the double debut of Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole.
