Another NJPW contract has expired, according to a new report.
In recent weeks, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) has reported that Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, and Alex Coughlin all had contracts that were set to expire in January. In a new update, Sapp writes that Drilla Moloney’s contract is already up. There is no word on whether he has been in active talks with NJPW about his contract.
In recent months, Drilla, also known as Dan Moloney, has been a member of Bullet Club War Dogs. He and Connors held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship until they lost the gold at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18. Moloney last wrestled for NJPW at the New Year Dash show on January 5.
At NJPW The New Beginning on February 11, Moloney and the Bullet Club War Dogs are set to battle United Empire in a Steel Cage match.
Moloney previously wrestled for NXT UK. He is a former PROGRESS Tag Team Champion, among other accolades.
Moloney has been announced for the OTT Wrestling event on March 1.
