Fans will hear from Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW.
During a commercial break on the January 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, the company advertised several segments for the January 15 episode of RAW. In addition to what had already been announced, the advertisement noted that Cody Rhodes would open the show. Rhodes defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Street Fight on the January 8 episode.
WWE Royal Rumble is quickly approaching, and it’s fair to wonder whether Rhodes has shifted his focus back to his mission to the battle royal. He previously declared for the match, and it is clear that he intends to finish the story this time around.

The announced card for the January 15 episode of RAW is as follows:
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jinder Mahal
- Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. The Miz & R-Truth
- DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs. Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh
- Gunther returns
- Cody Rhodes opens the show
