WWE RAW Draws Highest Viewership Since November With ‘Day 1’ Special

The “Day 1” episode of WWE RAW on January 1 drew the show’s largest viewership since November.

Wrestlenomics reports (via a Nielsen source) that Monday’s episode of RAW averaged 1,751,000 viewers. This marks an increase from last week (1.562 million viewers). Monday’s viewership was RAW’s highest since the November 27, 2023 episode of the show, which featured CM Punk’s first appearance following his return at WWE Survivor Series.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.60 rating. This is also up from last week (0.47 rating in the same demographic).

Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston also noted that the timeframe of 10:00-10:15 p.m. EST, which saw The Rock make his surprise return — averaged 2.15 million viewers and a 0.79 rating in the P18-49 demographic, which was the highest the show saw all night.

Thurston also noted that RAW faced stiff competition from the Rose Bowl (27.69 million viewers) and the Sugar Bowl (18.74 million viewers) on Monday.

Monday’s episode of RAW was the “Day 1” special. It featured a World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Plus, Nia Jax faced Becky Lynch, and Rhea Ripley defended the Women’s World Championship against Ivy Nile, in addition to The Rock’s return.
