Pro wrestler and Hollywood actor Luke Hawx recently shared his love and appreciation for the Iron Claw film. The Iron Claw film is a biography about the life and career of the legendary Von Erichs’ family starring Zac Effron.
Luke Hawx was one of the assistant wrestling coordinators on the movie. The Iron Claw’s official World Digital Premiere was on the 20th of December. Following the Premiere, Hawx took to Twitter to share that he was highly happy and proud. There were several reasons for his joy. It was not just because he could see his work in the motion picture but also because his friends and fellow wrestlers played a part in the picture.
“Great night last night for the World Premiere of @ironclawmovie. Very grateful to be a part of this film but I am more grateful to see my boys crush it in their on-screen roles & watch em walk that red carpet ? thank you @A24 #IronClaw #TheIronClaw,” Luke Hawx tweeted.
During the red carpet, Luke Hawx also opened up about his work in the film.
“It means the world because it’s something they never expected to do when coming to train for pro wrestling. Nobody thinks they’ll be in a movie. You think you have to be in Hollywood to be in movies, not New Orleans. So now their lives are changing. This isn’t the first film they’ve been in, and these are great projects. It changes the way people look at them. It helps grow their image. And it’s great to see them living a dream they never knew they would get a chance to,” Luke Hawx said. [H/T USA Today]
