The first two matches in the WWE United States Championship Tournament have been confirmed.
On the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul announced that an eight-man tournament would determine the next challenger for his United States Championship. WWE later confirmed two first-round matches for the December 8 episode.
In a WWE Survivor Series rematch, Dragon Lee will face Santos Escobar. Escobar beat Lee at WWE Survivor Series. On Friday, Lee took the fight to Escobar after the former LWO member attacked Joaquin Wilde following their match.
Plus, Bobby Lashley will face Karrion Kross in a clash of two powerhouses.
Additionally, Charlotte Flair and Asuka will reignite their rivalry when they clash in a singles match. They previously faced off in the Women’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
