16-time world champion John Cena took to Twitter to express his gratitude the crowd at the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown and the WWE Universe. He thanked the fans for allowing him to continue to spend time with them. Cena wrote that, with good and bad and ups and downs, he is grateful for every second they spend together.
Cena is featured on the poster for WWE Crown Jewel. As of this writing, he is not officially scheduled to compete at the show on November 4.
John Cena’s Latest WWE Run
John Cena returned to WWE on the September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown. Since then, he has appeared on SmackDown nearly every single week. He also competed at WWE Superstar Spectacle and WWE Fastlane.
On the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, John Cena noted that he hasn’t won a televised singles match in over 2,000 days. However, he made it clear that he still believes in himself, and he’s determined to end that streak. He then brawled with Solo Sikoa.
Cena’s last scheduled appearance of this run is set for the October 27 episode of WWE SmackDown. The show is set to be a double taping ahead of WWE Crown Jewel the following week. As a result, Cena could potentially appear on the November 3 episode.
