NXT is getting back on the road with its Deadline event.
WWE confirmed NXT Deadline will take place live at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Saturday, December 9. Shawn Michaels first announced the event plans on a media call for NXT No Mercy.
NXT Deadline marks the fifth state that NXT will tour in 2023. Deadline is the second premium live event that will emanate from Bridgeport. NXT TakeOver XXV took place at the Total Mortgage Arena (then the Webster Arena) on June 1, 2019.
NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, Tiffany Stratton, Ilja Dragunov, Roxanne Perez, NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Bron Breakker are currently advertised for the event, with more to be announced.
