Tony Khan has announced AEW Fight For The Fallen 2023.
In a tweet, Khan announced that Fight For The Fallen will be held across Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision, starting on August 16. He noted that the move was based on the horrific wildfires in Maui. The proceeds from AEW Dynamite on August 16 and Collision on August 19 will go to the Maui Food Bank.
AEW has held Fight for the Fallen on an annual basis since the company launched in 2019. The annual event has always raised funds for a charity. In 2019, proceeds went to victims of gun violence. The next year, proceeds went to COVID-19 relief.
Fight for the Fallen 2021 was held as a charity event for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. In 2022, Fight for the Fallen raised money for Oceana, a non-profit marine wildlife organization.
