It seems that the match placement for WWE SummerSlam is starting to come together.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, as of 3:15 PM EST, the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso for the WWE Universal Championship will close SummerSlam tonight.
The triple threat match between Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship will go on second to last.
It’s been previously reported that Logan Paul and Ricochet will open the premium live event; this is being done so Paul can travel to Dallas to see his brother Jake Paul’s boxing match later on in the evening.
Johnson also states that Cody Rhodes’ match with Brock Lesnar will follow Paul and Ricochet and go on second.
The full card for this year’s SummerSlam is as follows:
- Tribal Combat for the WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso
