The TNT Championship will be defended on the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As announced during the June 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jake Hager will challenge Wardlow for the gold. Wardlow announced that he had an open challenge, and Hager would be his opponent. In his most recent defense, Wardlow retained the title against Christian Cage at AEW Double or Nothing.
Additionally, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm’s opponent has been confirmed for AEW Dynamite. On Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Skye Blue won a four-way match that included Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Mercedes Martinez to earn a shot at the gold.
