Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship on the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW confirmed that Swerve Strickland will challenge Cassidy for the gold on Wednesday. Strickland was the last man eliminated in the Blackjack Battle Royale for Cassidy’s title at AEW Double or Nothing.
On the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Strickland watched on as Cassidy and Darby Allin defeated the Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Tioa Liona), Swerve’s Mogul Embassy stablemates.
Plus, Ricky Starks and Jay White will clash in a heated rematch. Starks and White have been feuding for several weeks, and White previously defeated Starks via disqualification on the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite.
White and Juice Robinson attacked Starks backstage after the Blackjack Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing. Starks made the save when White and Robinson attacked FTR on the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he challenged White to a rematch.
