Bad Bunny stood tall at the end of the May 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, and he wasn’t alone.
Friday’s show emanated from Puerto Rico one day before WWE will hold the Backlash premium live event in San Juan. Bad Bunny will host WWE Backlash, and he will face Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at the show. Ahead of the specials show, the popular music star made an appearance in the closing moments of WWE SmackDown to send the fans home happy.
In the main event, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega of the LWO defeated Dominik Mysterio and SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day. Priest and his Judgment Day stablemates attacked the WWE Hall of Famer after the bell, but Bad Bunny came out with the rest of the LWO to make the save.
The crowd went wild as Bad Bunny and his allies cleared the ring. The LWO then gave Bad Bunny a shirt with their logo on it, and he put it on. In the process, he seemingly joined the group.
Bad Bunny previously helped Rey Mysterio beat Dominik at WWE WrestleMania 39. Priest then slammed him through a table on the following episode of WWE RAW. Bad Bunny returned on the April 24 episode of WWE RAW ad attacked Priest before he challenged the powerhouse to a match at WWE Backlash.
