The three new dates are in addition to three previously-announced events in Canada. Tickets for these three events are currently on sale.
- Friday, August 11: SmackDown® – Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta
- Monday, August 14: Raw – Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba
- Friday, August 18: SmackDown – Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario
The Toronto date is notable as Edge previously said he wanted to have his final match in Canada. Last year, Edge told a WWE RAW crowd in Toronto he was eyeing his last match taking place in August 2023.
More recently, Edge was asked if he was still sticking to that plan. He says he still wants his last match to be in Canada, but he’s not thinking too far ahead at this point.
“I try not to make any firm decisions, but here’s what I can say about tonight — for nine years, I was retired. I come back and I get to team with my wife, who I married while I was retired and had two beautiful little girls with. The fact that we get to do this at all? I never thought this would happen. So we’re out there and if it looks like we’re having fun, it’s because we are. We’re having a blast. I get to stand shoulder to shoulder with this woman, I get to hit a Shatter Machine, which we’ve never even attempted before and pulled off, and she hasn’t wrestled a match in a year and one month and hops in there tonight in that kind of pressure cooker against two talents like that. Man, I’m just ecstatic. I’m not even thinking about what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow, let alone what I’m going to do five, six, seven or eight months from now. But I will say I would like it to be in Canada.”
