Natalya isn’t afraid of facing her competition head-on inside the Elimination Chamber this Saturday night.
SmackDown Superstar Natalya was a recent guest on WWE’s The Bump to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked who her biggest threat is inside of the Elimination Chamber on Saturday, Nattie believes The Princess of Staten Island Carmella is the one to watch out for.
“In all honesty, I I kind of feel like Carmela,” Natalya admitted. “And I know that people would question me and say well in stature, she’s small. You got Raquel, who’s a powerhouse, and Nikki, who’s a loose cannon, to put it mildly. Liv, who’s like a crazy firecracker. But when I think about Carmela, she’s somebody that I feel at this moment in her career, she’s going to do whatever it takes, and those are the ones that are really dangerous.
“And just like we mentioned earlier, she’s willing to cheat to win. She’s willing to do whatever it takes, and I don’t entirely trust her tactics going into this match, but I feel like she’s kind of a force to be reckoned with in the sense that she’s got nothing to lose and everything to gain and she’s not afraid to pull a Tonya Harding in there.”
When asked about her other opponents inside the Chamber this Saturday night, Nattie really put over Asuka and Raquel Gonzalez.
“Asuka, who’s a total wildcard she’s got this whole new revamped image, and it’s cool because it’s like a fresh coat of paint,” Natalya said. “It’s this new Asuka that she’s got a little bit of the old Asuka, but she’s got this fresh recharged energy that is really exciting not just for us to compete in the rain against but also for the WWE audience. Carmela mentioned it earlier, Raquel is a force to be reckoned with.
“She is one of the most dominant women in the WWE, and I really see something special and Raquel in the sense that I see her being a future leader in the women’s division of the WWE. She’s also put some time in the dungeon a little bit, so she’s amazing. There’s just so many incredible women that will be in the Chamber with us, and I’m excited to beat them all.”
