Tyrus will defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA’s next pay-per-view, and he will sign the contract for the match on NWA Powerrr.
At NWA Hard Timed 3, Tyrus won the gold by defeating Trevor Murdoch and Matt Cardona in a three-way match. Cardona previously won the title in February by beating Murdoch at NWA PowerrrTrip, but he was forced to relinquish the title due to an injury in June. Murdoch won the vacant championship at NWA Alwayz Ready, and he was scheduled to defend the title against Cardona at Hard Times 3, but Tyrus cashed in his Lucky Seven option as the NWA World Television Champion to get a shot at the world title.
On December 9, NWA announced that Tyrus and Cardona will sign the contract for their title match on the first-ever live episode of NWA Powerrr on January 31.
