Austin Theory teases cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at a live event.
The WWE RAW star won the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match in July. Since then, he has been carrying around the briefcase, which contains a contract that grants him a title match at any time and place of his choosing. Most contract holders cash it in on RAW, SmackDown, or a Premium Live Event, but in theory, non-televised shows are also an option.
In an interview with Graham “GSM” Matthews for Bleacher Report, Theory was asked about the possibility and noted that it’s bound to happen eventually, and he could potentially be the one to do it.
“I mean, anything can happen in the WWE,” Theory said. “That’s been said a lot of times. I feel like, who knows? Why would it not happen? It has to happen eventually, right? Somebody has to do it, and why not me, somebody who makes these headlines, these achievements. The youngest United States Champion, the youngest Mr. Money in the Bank, and the man that could cash in at a live event. Who knows?”
