On August 16, the NJPW G1 Climax continued with the eighteenth night of action from Tokyo Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.
The event, which featured stars like Kazuchika Okada and Jay White, aired on NJPW World.
The results, courtesy of Fightful, are as follows:
- G1 Climax 32 D Block: Will Ospreay (4-2, 8 points) def. Juice Robinson (2-4, 4 points)
- G1 Climax 32 D Block: El Phantasmo (3-3, 6 points) def. Shingo Takagi (3-3, 6 points)
- G1 Climax 32 C Block: EVIL (3-3, 6 points) def. Hirooki Goto (3-3, 6 points)
- G1 Climax 32 C Block: Tetsuya Naito (4-2, 8 points) def. Zack Sabre Jr (4-2, 8 points)
- G1 Climax 32 B Block: Tomohiro Ishii (2-4, 4 points) def. SANADA (3-3, 6 points)
- G1 Climax 32 B Block: Tama Tonga (5-1, 10 points) def. Jay White (5-1, 10 points)
- G1 Climax 32 A Block: JONAH (4-2, 8 points) def. Bad Luck Fale (2-4, 4 points)
- G1 Climax 32 A Block: Kazuchika Okada (5-1, 10 points) def. Lance Archer (3-3, 6 points)
C and D Block took four matches to determine tonight in the Budokan, resulting in our final four being set!

These matches determined the block winners, and therefore the semifinals, of the tournament.
The 2022 edition of the tournament was the first edition that utilized four seven-wrestler blocks. In the semifinals, Kazuchika Okada, who won Block A, will face Tama Tonga, who won Block B. Meanwhile, Will Ospreay (Block D) will face Tetsuya Naito (Block C).
