It’s a new hosting opportunity for The New Day, yes it is.
Hashtag Sports announced on Tuesday that their fourth annual awards show will be hosted by WWE’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. This year’s Hashtag Sports Awards will emanate from Las Vegas on July 12.

According to their official website, the Hashtag Sports Awards show “is where media executives, CMOs, athletes, entertainers, creatives, producers, gamers, and storytellers all come together to recognize & inspire those who do it best on the biggest stage. This is your can’t-miss recognition and networking night for sports, content and entertainment’s doers and creators.”
This is not the first time members of The New Day have served as hosts for special events. The former WWE Tag Team Champions hosted WrestleMania 33 together in Orlando five years ago. Woods also hosted a weekly video game competition series for G4 last fall.
Kingston and Woods are featured on WWE SmackDown, which airs every Friday night on FOX.
