Ruby Soho is going to the finals of The Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
Soho faced Kris Statlander in the second semifinal match on the May 27 episode of AEW Rampage. “The Runaway” previously beat Robyn Renegade to qualify and Riho to advance in the competition. Meanwhile, Statlander replaced the injured Hikaru Shida in her quarterfinal bout; she defeated Red Velvet on the May 20 episode of AEW Rampage to clinch her spot in the semifinals.
On Friday, Soho and Statlander threw everything they had at each other. Throughout the contest, Statlander showcased her impressive strength and overpowered Soho. But in the end, “The Runaway” secured the win with a roll-up from the crucifix position.

After the match, Soho’s opponent in the finals, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. came to the stage, but Soho cut her of. The crowd booed “The Runaway” loudly, even as she told the former champion that she would get revenge for the latter’s win in their previous encounter at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. The two women will collide at AEW Double or Nothing.
