Gable Steveson may not have made his official WWE debut just yet, but the superstar-to-be did appear at Night 1 of WrestleMania 38, where he was heralded as a future star.
Following The Miz and Logan Paul’s win over Rey and Dominik Mysterio, WWE’s Stephanie McMahon made her way out to the ramp, and thanked the fans for attending. She then introduced fans to Steveson, fresh off of his latest NCAA Championship in wrestling, as someone who could be an important star in the next generation of professional wrestling.
Steveson, 21, already has quite the accomplished career, having won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and wrapping up his collegiate wrestling career this past weekend, where he secured his third NCAA Division-1 Heavyweight World Championship. The young star signed with WWE in September 2021 and was drafted to the RAW brand during the company’s draft just a month later.
