Thunder Rosa is set to vacate the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship.
AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa took to Twitter to announce that she’ll be at the company’s event on 4/23 in South Bend, Indiana, where she’ll relinquish her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship.
“Dear Warrior Wrestling fans, it’s Thunder Rosa and it’s been an honor for me to serve as the Women’s Champion here in Warrior Wrestling. From the bottom of my heart, I’m disappointed to tell you that unfortunately due to some really huge commitments that are coming in my career, I will no longer be able to serve as your champion,” Thunder Rosa said.
“I want to thank everyone from the top to the bottom of the organization for this opportunity to represent women’s wrestling not only in Warrior Wrestling but around the country. It’s been an honor to be a champion in this company and do it with honor and pride. To whoever becomes the next Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion,” Rosa added, “I wish you the best and I hope you represent the company just as good or even better than I did.”
Thunder Rosa held the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship for the past 209 days and was the company’s third-ever women’s champion.
