The Rock finally got to enjoy his moment at the Super Bowl.
The 2022 Super Bowl kicked off with an exciting introduction by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who once had dreams of making it in the NFL himself. Once his playing days were over, he transitioned to the squared circle and the silver screen and became a huge star, but he finally got to take the field on Sunday to make that dream come true… albeit in a different way.
The magnitude of the moment was not lost on Johnson, who posted the following on Twitter to thank fans for the reception, and the league for allowing him to appear on such a big stage:
My long time dream was to have a career in the @NFL & win a #SuperBowl. I failed at that.
But last night my dream came true.. in a different way
