Duke Hudson Defeats Ikemen Jiro In Opening Round Of NXT Breakout Tournament
The NXT Breakout Tournament began on this week’s episode of NXT, and Duke Hudson clinched the first victory. Hudson took on Ikeman Jiro in a first-round bout. Jiro looked to have some offensive fun against Hudson, but a bit of snake eyes accompanied by a hammer throw leveled the charismatic newcomer.
Fully jacketed for the entire match, Jiro fought back against Hudson and even locked in a tarantula against his opponent, but the protege of Tajiri fell prey to Hudson’s power. Hudson hit Jiro hard with a European uppercut and did end up getting the 1-2-3 with a Bossman Slam.

Kyle O’Reilly Will ‘Finish’ Adam Cole
Kyle O’Reilly isn’t done with Adam Cole yet. On this week’s episode of NXT, O’Reilly sat down with Wade Barrett in a pre-recorded interview to comment on his loss against his adversary at last week’s Great American Bash. O’Reilly said that losing is a part of the world of wrestling, but he fully plans to “finish” Cole after the heinous acts he’s pulled against him.
Later in the show, Cole told O’Reilly that he should reconsider, as the former NXT Champion bragged that he would just embarrass his former friend if they faced off again.
