In-Ring Segment: Finn Bálor
Killer Kross and Scarlett inturupt. Kross says they are on a collision course to find out who the real champion is. Bálor says he is going to tell Kross something no one has the balls to; Kross may walk and look like a champion, but he is no champion. Kross says he’s going to choke Bálor out. Bálor says Kross is going to go to the main event of TakeOver and choke. Scarlett says she saw this moment in the cards. Scarlett has seen two champions wrapped in gold. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch interrupt. Lorcan says Bálor should be defending against Pete Dunne. Scarlett says Burch and Lorcan should put their tag titles on the line against Bálor and Kross. Lorcan and Burch are not interested. Scarlett walks over to Burch and Lorcan and convinces them to take the match.
Dexter Lumis vs. Austin Theory
Backstage, Theory finds out Gargano and LeRae aren’t in the arena. Theory sends Lumis out of the ring. Theory slams Lumis’ head into the announce desk. After the break, Theory lands a fallaway slam. Lumis kicks out. Lumis almost locks in Silence. Theory escapes and drops an elbow. Lumis kicks out again. Theory does a front roll but Lumis catches him and hits a spinebuster. Kip up leg drop by Lumis. Theory kicks out. Theory blasts Lumis with a running knee. Theory gets a two count after a modified Ushigorshi. Lumis surprises Theory with a clothesline. Lumis stares at Theory. Lumis offers his hand. Lumis helps Theory up. Theory hugs Lumis and yells he knew it! Lumis almost locks in Silence. Theory elbows his way out of it and almost hits the ATL. Lumis escapes and locks in Silence. Theory passes out.
Winner- Dexter Lumis
Backstage, Tommaso Ciampa says Timothy Thatcher isn’t here and IMPERIUM probably took him out. Two can play this game. Ciampa notes that if you ask IMPERIUM if they have seen Alexander Wolfe lately they will say no and he knows why. By the time the bell rings tonight, there will only be one member of IMPERIUM left standing.
