There are some cracks in The Foundation.
Kenny King and Dragon Lee are the new ROH Tag Team Champions after beating Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham on this week’s episode of ROH TV. The title change came in a Pure Rules match, with the pinfall coming after Lee and King had already exhausted two of their team’s rope breaks.
The final moments of the match saw Amy Rose push King out of the way before she got caught by a suicide dive from Lethal on accident. Lee then used the distraction to crack Gresham in the face with a closed-fist punch* behind the referee’s back and make the cover.
Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham’s first tag team championship reign ends at 78 (at time of air date) after winning the titles at Final Battle. The win marks Dragon Lee’s first reign as ROH Tag Team Champion, but Kenny King also won the titles (with Rhett Titus as All Night Express) at Best In The World 2012.

*There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a Pure match. The first use of a closed fist would get a warning, and the second would cause the wrestler to be penalized a rope break. If a third and final rope break is exhausted, the wrestler could then be disqualified.
