Matt Riddle has a new deal with WWE and although you might have heard reports to the contrary, it’s signed and delivered.
According to a new report from Fightful, Riddle has signed a new contract with WWE, despite reports claiming that he didn’t actually put pen to paper. It was recently reported that Riddle had only agreed in principal to a new deal with WWE, but Fightful says that’s not the case, and they’ve confirmed he signed and it was done “just before the last week of December.”
The report also notes that Riddle’s new contract actually replaces the prior one that he’d signed in the summer of 2018. Riddle didn’t sign an extension, however, and this is a brand new contract that has him with WWE through 2023.
Riddle’s original contract was set to expire in August of this year, but fans will be able to see the Original Bro for a few more years in WWE.
