WWE Royal Rumble featured several buzzworthy developments. From potential NXT call-ups to cameo appearances, this show left people talking.
A new report suggests that some of the stars who appeared on the show are here to stay.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider stated that when Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley competed in their respective Royal Rumble Matches, they made their official debuts as members of the main roster.
Johnson also reports that Carlito might get a chance to become a producer with the company, potentially starting on this week’s episode of WWE RAW.
“Carlito, who returned last night, is scheduled to be at tonight’s episode of Raw,” wrote Johnson. “There was word making the rounds he might be in line for a Producer tryout position with the WWE.”
The report also states that Victoria and Kane are not scheduled for WWE RAW this week, so their appearances might have been one-off deals.
Johnson also noted that Kane is donating his paycheck from the show to a noble cause.
“Kane…announced he is donating his pay from his Rumble appearance to the Knox County Mayor’s Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for TCAT Knoxville according to CBS affilliate WVLT channel 8,” wrote Johnson.
