The TNT Championship will be on the line at AEW New Year’s Smash Night 2.
During an interview segment with Sting, Team Taz came out to talk some trash about the legendary wrestler. Darby Allin would appear in the ring to make sure things didn’t get physical, and that’s when Taz announced that Allin would be putting his AEW TNT Championship on the line on Jan. 6 against Brian Cage.

Cage currently holds the unrecognized FTW title and previously lost in his bid for the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley earlier this year.
Later on in the show, FTR vs. Jurassic Express and Cody Rhodes vs. Matt Sydal was also made official for Night 2.
