Last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was another big one, and it reflected as such in the ratings, as the latest episode averaged 2.215 million viewers on FOX.
According to new information from Showbuzz Daily, the latest episode of SmackDown was much better received in comparison to last week’s, with this episode moving up 3.4% in terms of viewers. This episode also marks the best ratings that the show has seen since September, with Survivor Series on the horizon likely playing a huge factor. The show opened with 2.202 million viewers in hour one, and saw the second hour rise up to 2.228 million.
When it comes to demographics, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 rating amongst 18-49 year olds, which was the same mark it hit last week, and once again trailed ABC’s Shark Tank for top marks on the night. In the 18-34 demographic, SmackDown also took second place behind Shark Tank, scoring a 0.3 rating, which is down 25% from last week. Overall, though, the show was received much better this week, and with the aftermath of Survivor Series likely playing a huge role in the WWE Universe going forward, it’ll be interesting to see how things look next week.
