After easily defeating WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth in a match, Lashley threw him to the ground. Drew Gulak would run out thinking it was his chance to grab a pinfall for the 24/7 belt, but Lashley stopped the pin. Lashley choked out Gulak and then threw his unconscious body on top of Truth to crown a new champion on Lashley’s terms.
