Maxwell Jacob Friedman is currently the #1 ranked wrestler in All Elite Wrestling’s Men’s singles division. He has watched several other world championship contenders come and go, all while retaining a near-flawless record in the squared circle. It seems that this week, he’s finally waited long enough.
AEW announced earlier today that MJF would be giving a State of the Industry Address during this week’s edition of Dynamite. MJF followed that up with a simple tweet that hints at his intentions, particularly the #NotMyChampion hashtag.

With Wardlow at his side, the brash young wrestler will likely insist that the time has come for his shot at the AEW World Heavyweight Champion currently held by Jon Moxley. Will this hero of the people once again be denied what he’s earned? Will Jon Moxley show up to face his new challenger on a night where he also has to deal with Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a tag team encounter? Or, will MJF surprise us all and announce some ulterior motive? We only have a little over 48 hours to find out.
