This week on WWE RAW, Seth Rollins opened the show to reflect on his victory over Rey Mysterio in the Eye for an Eye Match at WWE Extreme Rules. Rollins said he’ll always be haunted by that match. “The visual, the image of Rey Mysterio holding his own bloody eye in his hand will stay with me in my memories forever,” said Rollins. “It made me sick to my stomach.”

The Monday Night Messiah questioned whether the WWE Universe regrets what they’ve done to him. “You were the ones who made me the Monday Night Messiah,” said Rollins. He reminded everyone that Mysterio asked for the Eye for an Eye Match. Rollins tried to focus on the present and move on from Mysterio. “There is nobody left to stand in the way of the greater good,” said Rollins. Aleister Black begged to differ, as he interrupted Rollins. He blamed Rollins for his actions and said he wants to make things right. The two men then faced off in a singles match after Black brawled with Murphy.

Rollins gained the upper hand early on, but Black rallied with stiff strikes. Rollins ducked a punch and caused Black to punch the ring post. Rollins took control of the match, but Black rallied again. Murphy distracted Black, but Black dodged a Stomp and hit Rollins with Black Mass. Murphy distracted Black again, which allowed Rollins to roll to the outside.

Rollins countered Black Mass into a roll-up for a near fall and rocked Black with a superkick. Black rocked Rollins with a stiff kick of his own, but Rollins hit a Stomp for the win. After the match, Murphy and Black attacked Black. Rollins targeted Black’s hurt arm and inflicted even more damage. He Stomped Black’s arm after he told him that no one but The Messiah will save him.
