Charlotte On Performing For Three Brands: ‘I Can Do Everything They Ask’

Unless your WWE watching habits consist solely of Main Event and old episodes of Shotgun Saturday Night, you’ve seen some Charlotte Flair recently. Because she’s the NXT Women’s Champion, the multi-time champion has storylines running on Raw, SmackDown and NXT, and that looks to be the plan going forward. It’s a unique situation, and Charlotte can certainly admit that it comes with its fair share of difficulties. Speaking with Sportskeeda, she expands on why some fans tune out when she marches down the aisle.

I really do think that my consistency is a detriment to people missing me. I feel like I am doing some of my best work of my career right now, promo-wise and in-ring-wise but, because people see me all the time, I think they’re used to it and the expectation is so high…

However, even though Charlotte appears everywhere, she doesn’t feel that she’s ever the focus.

I’m on all three brands but, if you look at my storylines that I am a part of, I am a part of someone else’s storyline, it’s not like anything is a “Charlotte Flair” push. Like, there’s nothing that… I’m just put [there] because I can basically do anything and everything they ask.

That versatility is a big asset in modern-day WWE, and it likely means that we’ll see a lot more of Charlotte Flair in the months to come.
