Reports are coming in that both The Inner Circle and The Elite worked a long night. Their Stadium Stampede match, a contest where an entire NFL stadium is fair game, was apparently taped overnight in an effort to avoid dead air during the live broadcast as wrestlers roam the stadium. Some reports even indicate that filming wasn’t finished until 5 AM this morning. Placing it somewhat in the realm of “cinematic wrestling,” everyone involved in the contest seemingly can’t contain their excitement for what they came up with.
The #StadiumStampede is one of the best things I’ve ever been a part of in my 30 years in the wrestling business. No joke…don’t miss it LIVE on PPV TONIGHT! @AEWrestling pic.twitter.com/3rDXrgVqmU

Sources speaking to several outlets about the match indicate that there will be tons of creativity in the match, with spots happening all around the venue. It’s a Falls Count Anywhere No DQ bout with a ring set up at the 50 Yard Line. However, due to the rules of the match, having a wrestling ring could be merely a formality, and we can expect Jericho, Hardy, and the rest to be roaming throughout press boxes, concession stands, and maintenance tunnels on their way to victory.
The second annual AEW Double Or Nothing airs tonight at 8 PM EST on PPV via B/R Live, FITE, and other PPV providers.
