AXS TV and IMPACT Wrestling have revealed what fans can expect to see next week when the company brings things back to the Impact Zone for a night of nostalgic action. Originally meant as a prelude to the postponed TNA: There’s No Place Like Home event, the special episode will now try to stand alone as a way to entertain fans of a different sort.
IMPACT Vice President Scott D’Amore had this to say about the circumstances:
For years, the loyal fans of TNA have asked us to bring back some of their favorite wrestlers of the past, and after the incredible response we received from the now-postponed ‘TNA: There’s No Place Like Home’ iPPV, we thought an AXS TV special would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate our history.
The following segments and talent have been revealed for the show, which airs Tuesday, Mar. 31 at 10 PM ET:
- Commentary by former TNA Wrestling announcer David Penzer and TNA’s “Coach D’Amore” of Team Canada
- Kid Kash and Johnny Swinger team up to take on Suicide and Manik
- Hernandez of LAX returns to battle “The Natural” Chase Stevens
- Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner picks up a live microphone for “Scott Steiner Uncensored”
- In the main event, former TNA Champion Rhino continues his rivalry with oVe’s Madman Fulton
