The show starts with the brand new world champion, Jon Moxley, praising the fans and saying that pro wrestling is back with AEW. Moxley promises to defend the belt with his life, says nobody can take the belt from him. Chris Jericho is out with the rest of the Inner Circle and he says he doesn’t need a belt to make him Le Champion.

“What a proclamation, Jon Moxley, daring the Inner Circle to come out and face you.” Chris Jericho began before saying that he thinks the Jon Moxley era sucks ass. So, the crowd chants back that Jericho sucks ass. Chris Jericho calls Moxley a liar for faking the eye injury. He then calls the crowd liars for going along with the charade. Jericho says that now he doesn’t have the title, the Inner Circle is now a group of hit squad members.

Jericho then says he’s putting the entire roster on notice, saying that they will run through everybody until Jericho gets his belt back. Jericho says they’re going to start with Moxley, before hyping the main event. Jericho said that after the match Moxley will not walk out of the city on his own two feet.

Jericho then says that if he doesn’t fulfill his promise, he will take a leave of absence from the company for 60 days.

SCU & Colt Cabana vs. Dark Order

Back and forth action with the creepy perverts doing a lot to Underhandedly maintain control. Ultimately, Cabana would pick up the win with a top rope faceplant followed by his signature pin combination.

WINNERS: SCU & Colt Cabana

Post-match, Uno promises that Heads Will Roll when the exalted one arrives.

Big Swole vs. Leva Bates

Britt Baker was on commentary for this. She couldn’t even get through one line about Big Swole not being her real name before Swole put away the librarian.

WINNER: Big Swole

Cody is out next. he has a lot to say about losing to Maxwell Jacob Friedman but gets interrupted by Jake the Snake Roberts have on people. Roberts reveals that he will be sticking around as a manager and his client is a talent to be named.

Chuck Taylor vs. PAC

At the start of this match, Jim Ross spoke a lot about the potential of Chuck Taylor to get bigger physically and have a great 2020.

PAC and Taylor go back and forth. Chuck hit the Awful Waffle for two but would inevitably be forced to tap out to the brutalizer.

WINNER: PAC

An MJF promo was run where he declared he would be a world champion very soon.

Jake Hager vs. QT Marshall

The Inner Circle’s big gun defeated Marshall with the standing triangle. After the map, The Elite and the Inner Circle got into a large brawl with Adam Page finally sidng with his friends.

Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley and Darby Allin.

the other three members of the Inner Circle jumped MOX before he could make it to the Rain leaving the majority of the match to be a handicap match. Darby would get very close ultimately be the recipient of a mid-air Judas effect forcing the wind out of him and allowing Sammy Guevara to pin him very easily.

WINNERS: The Inner Circle

After the match, Jon Moxley would come back and attack the Inner Circle but they would go off the air with a blast from Jon Moxley’s past. Moxley would eat a shield powerbomb through a table!
